A pump cycling on and off or water that cuts out is not automatically a failed pump. We find out what it actually is and tell you what we found before anything gets pulled.

All work is guaranteed to New Jersey well drilling codes. We do not warranty the quality or quantity of water in the ground, and we say that before we start rather than after.

We get called out to wells Don's grandfather drilled. A well put in to NJDEP code can last a lifetime, and we are still here to work on it.
What drilling a new well actually involves
If city water is not available at your property, a well is the only option. Here is how the job runs, start to finish.

Site visit
We look at the property first. The ground has to be reasonably flat for the rig to set up.

Permits
An NJDEP permit plus a county and township permit. Requirements vary by location, so this gets settled first.

Drilling
Most wells are drilled in two days. Depth depends on your location, the geology, and the yield you need. It is a loud process.

Pump system
Pump and any conditioning equipment installed. Our license covers the well up to your main shut-off valve.

Water test
New Jersey requires a test through a state certified laboratory. The lab does the testing, not us.

What does a well cost?
It depends entirely on how deep we have to drill. As a rough guide, a 300 ft well generally runs in the range of $10,000 to $15,000. We will give you a real number once we have seen the site.

We drill new water wells, repair and replace well pumps, install pressure tanks, fit water conditioning equipment, and seal unused wells. We have been doing it from the same yard in Washington, New Jersey since 1929.
